First let me say congrats to all the High schools Kids today and this week who are in the Super sectionals, Including Montini High school ,I know a lot of girls on this team and Richie C has young Special group there ,, Good Luck Young Ladies. Also to the kids in the Class 4A & Class 3A Girls Softball conference , a very tough one good luck ladies

I wanted to take time and say Congrats to Dale Ryndak for being named Illinois Gatorade player of the year. After a torn Acl last year to be the player of the year is quite unbelievable. Her pitching coach is also a great one in Pat Rzegocki
I happen to be In St Charles this weekend to catch the BIGBASH Sports PGF qualifier ,just let me say it was a great one, alot of good teams most who were just getting back together after the long High school season, and also some teams were missing some kids. but a very well ran tournament with no gate fees ,go figure I don't have to pay to see my kid play lol.
A few teams stood out to me, Taylor Made as a org had a great weekend, the 2 -18u teams were both in the Ship and decided not to play each other and TAKE 1ST AND 2ND PLACE - those Finley's have something there. the 16u Taylormade were a game away from getting into the ship, and the 14u beat the 12u Beverly Bandits in the ship, as a group the Taylor made teams can really hit the ball hard!
and that Beverly Bandits 12u team will dominate at their age.
At the 16s, I saw one of the wildest game I have ever seen in the Championship game , Orland Park A's Douglas vs Windy City Ice Black in a slug fest . with the Ice winning the What if game. 2 very good teams. cant wait to see these 2 teams in action this summer. oh yea and umps are some what human too lol. all that I would say is know the rules ,just fyi lol.....
A lot of great things going on in IL this week, Dave Betcher has a huge July coming and a nice June 20th 14u National Qualifier .
