Another packed week of softball going on, From IL ,Indiana to Colorado things are happening ,girls are playing the sport they love. Which leads me to this, most teams are posting their tryout dates for the 2015 season, but I ask what can the team of your choice do for you? do they help you get notice from college coaches and talk to them for you or do they just sit on the bucket and tell you what to do instead of Really coaching? I ve talked to tons of coaches and everyone has their own coaching style and that's great if it works for you. but are you really doing it for the kids? or are you only doing it for the D1 rated kids and not as much for the D2,D3 and Juco kids, take it as you may but its my 2 cents. we only have a short time on this earth to make a impact on someone's life, wouldn't you want to be remember as that Coach? im just saying.
I was approached to have some ILSoftball.com teams next year, and Im considering it only of it makes sense , some of the coaches I have in mind would have to come out of retirement and if they do it would change the game in IL, but will see .
Have a great July 4th week, thank all the Armed forces for what they do 24 hr a day!

What you said above is so true. It is hard to tell when you join a team if you get the "bucket" coach or the coach that really cares about each player and what they want out of the game! They play because they love the sport that is true.

Cezar,
you hit it right on the nose, parents have to do what's best for them, do you really think some of these coaches care what people think of them ? all they care is about winning at any cost.
