I want to thank the 142 teams who made this years PGF MIDWEST REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP a wonderful event!
Can't thank enough all the people and programs who assisted me in making the event a success. Programs who worked hard for the week include the St Charles Angles, Wasco Diamonds, Bartlett Silver Hawks, Indy Dreams and Elk Gove Heat. Special thanks to my site directors Dan Bryant and Kirk Cherep for a yeoman's job managing the event at their sites and handling all issues professionaly. My UIC, Doug Almon, is second to none on being able to keep up with me and adjust as needed. His site UIC's and umpires from 5 states made up a crew of 101 umpires throughout the week. My wife Lisa and step daughter Krtistina put in many hours behind the scenes making so many little things come together. To Eric, Phil, Keith, Jake, John, Brad, Ryan, Patrick, Jordan and Matt thank you so much for everything! The young men and women who worked the maintenance crews in St Charles, Wasco and Glen Ellyn are top notch! Thank you to Alan Praisal and his ATI staff of trainers! Thanl you to Pheasant Run Resort as thew host hotel and also to St Charles Park District for the use of Potawatomie Park on Opening night. Hope everyone enjoyed our band Serendipity and the Jesse White Tumblers!
Thank you to all the teams for sportsmanshio, hard play and great competition!

This year besides the pool games and championship bracket - I added the Futures division - for the teams who lost early in the championship bracket - they got to play in a single elimination event on Saturday. I think it was great to have so many more teams end their seasons on a high note and know they would be playing every day of the event while in town.
Best wishes to all our players and teams as they prepare to create new memories and success in 2014-2015 and beyond.
