As a Coach and parent ,what is your rule about confronting or speaking to a coach right after a game?
As a Coach and a parent , I follow the 24 hr rule, which means if you have a question about your kid or why they haven't had playing time ,don't do it during a game or right after, because if its my team your kid might be kicked off the team on the spot, I really don't have time for all that drama and it never does of any good when your mad to confront the coach. haha just saying ,
which leads me to this, yesterday after My Sons basketball game, 3 parents confronted the coach about playing time and why their kid doesn't play, which is why the 24 hr rule is great, well the parents got their feelings hurt, coach even told them, this isn't little league where everyone plays ,which I found was wrong for him to say ,but he had a point, he also told them to come to the practices and see how they play in practice and why they haven't played so much.
note to parents, you don't approach a coach in front of everyone , the kids, in the hallway while the other team is watching .you are embarrassing your kids.
I asked my son after the game why the kids don't play as much , he said their lazy they don't hustle, they just go through the motions, well that's coming from a bench player that made the starting 5 . tip of the day , choose your words wisely, the World is watching.
