The Lake County Fastpitch 14U Glory team is looking for a catcher due to injury and a player leaving the game completely.
The 14U Glory plays an aggressive "A" level schedule and enters only ASA or PGF qualifying tournaments. We practice 2-3 times per week and will play games and tournaments from May thru Nationals in late July early August.
We are looking for a confident catcher with a strong and accurate arm who is not afraid of getting dirty when blocking pitches down in the dirt. Having the ability to call her own game would be a plus but is not necessary. Being an average to better than average hitter and having the ability to play another position would also be nice.
Tournaments include Sparks, Metro, Naperville PGF, Watertown ASA National qualifier and several others. Nationals will be either ASA Nationals in Salem VA or Northern Nationals in Bowling Green KY.
