18U 2016 Bombers Fastpitch Illinois Team has 12 players and is looking to add an outfielder to the roster.
For the Fall of 2015, We are attending St Louis Showcase #1, Betcher Showcase, Joliet Dirt Devil Exposure, Midland Magic Showcase, TCS Super 32 NIT, and an ASA / USA qualifier in Elgin.
There are many benefits playing for the 18U "A" Bombers Fastpitch Travel Program:
1. The Bombers Fastpitch is pleased to announce it's 10th year in travel fastpitch softball. Over the past 9 years, we have played the "best of the best", ASA / USA "A" level competition, along with attending some of the best college exposure events in the country.
2. Bombers Fastpitch is looking for experienced, "A" players with college level talent and athleticism. Each student athlete must excel academically and have love and passion for the game. Self motivators are a must.
3. Head Coach Pacyga is a Certified Public Accountant who also has a passion for teaching fastpitch softball to these fine young ladies. There is "no cost" to play for the program. Coach Pacyga's only concern is helping the girls, which is why I sponsor the program. It can be debated that the Bombers are, technically, one of the only programs in the country, that truly does this for the players.
4. We have a very nice list of student athletes over the years who have gone on to college and played college softball. Four of our 2015 Grads are going on to play college softball, while the other two 2015 Grads are considering a tryout to walk on.
6. Our outdoor practice fields are located in Woodridge and our offseason indoor facility is located in Mokena. In the Fall, we practice weekends unless we are playing games. Once the fall season is complete, we will break for 5 weeks and then restart in December. We also practice Sunday in the offseason.
7. The Bombers Fastpitch play a top level, competitive schedule, that help prepare these ladies for college play and to also been seen by college coaches. The Fall Season is geared towards College Exposure events and therefore will require additional travel when compared to our summer season. This 2015 summer, we will only be traveling once to Nationals. Normally, travel can be expected for 2 weekends.
8. The Bombers program covers just about everything (uniforms, equipment, insurance, tourney fees, field fees, indoor facility fees and all other costs). The parents are responsible for Transportation, meals and hotels.
9. We do ask for a small refundable deposit when joining the program. As long as a player fulfills her commitment and participates in Nationals, the deposit will be returned.
10. The only time a fee will be charged by the Bombers, is if a player leaves before Nationals. In addition, the deposit will also be surrendered as mentioned in #9 above.
11. We take fastpitch softball seriously because the players take it seriously.
12. Our tryouts, scrimmages and offers will be ongoing. I am considering individual players and core groups of players for this opportunity. The best way to contact me is at 815-822-8897 and emailing at admin@bombersfastpitch.org
13. Please go to www.bombersfastpitch.org and click on the tryout link. You will find a tryout entry form. Please fill it out and email back to admin@bombersfastpitch.org
tryout location will be sent in email.
* The above is a basic summary of the Bombers Fastpitch offer and should not be confused with the actual parent and player agreement.
